We have one double bedroom with adjacent private facilities with shower and bath. If you book this room then we are 'full'. You will also then get the use of a large upstairs sitting room with free internet access and fine views.

The upstairs room can also be used as an extra bedroom for parties of three  persons with the addition of a single bed. Children and teenagers seem especially fond of this room making Romesdal ideal for a family holiday.

The house was modernized and extended in 2007 with central heating throughout making this a very comfortable, quiet and private base for your holiday on the Isle of Skye. There will be no strangers at the breakfast table.

is situated just off the main A87 road, mid-way between the Skye village of Portree and the ferry terminal at Uig. About a mile or two past the village of Kensaleyre, at Romesdal we are the house directly on the corner, with trees. Usually, a red Land Rover will be in the driveway. Please note the

RomesdalB&B Sign reads: RomesdalHighlanders (with an image of a Highland Cow).

A ten minute drive either way takes you to Uig or Portree. There is easy access to the shores of Loch Snizort, the hills above Kingsburgh and the Trotternish Ridge.

Romesdal is ideally situated as a base to explore the North and West of Skye and is also a convenient stopping point for those travelling to and from the Outer Isles.
